Sheriff and Jail Information

After someone has been arrested, they are taken to jail by local law enforcement officers where they are booked and processed. During this period, the processing officer will check for any warrants the inmate might have outside of the county they are currently being incarcerated in. The next step in the booking process is to remove any personal items from the possession of the inmate and record all of them so they can be claimed upon the release of the prisoner. After the inmate is photographed and fingerprinted, each prisoner undergoes a comprehensive medical screening and pre-trial services interview.
